One might ask what's the motivation for collecting spent stocks as a hobby ?
Well for me it's several things. One in my opinion stock certificates look much neater than stamps. The other grabber for me is the company stories and history. These stories are usually about both success and failures of individuals and their companies as they struggled to grow and achieve their goals.
From such historical company stories I believe much wisdom can be gleaned to better understand and develop my own company.
